hello- I know I have fallen off the planet. For those of you who still frequent my site here is my life in a nutshell. I am still in Dallas In August I closed on a condo purchase in Lakewood. I scraped a popcorn ceiling, pulled up tile and carpet, dealt with a bad contractor worked out the deal on new bamboo floors and bathroom tile. Purchased cabinets at Ikea (took about 3 trips), patched and painted all surfaces, and hung cabinets. Needless to say family and friends helped me soo much. This all happened in the dead heat of Dallas summer September moved into the place. October took the NCIDQ Monday after the exam interview for a new job. Two weeks later started a new job. Went home for Thanksgiving and for a week at Christmas. I am very thankful for the time I had away from Dallas. Settled in my new job...made some new freinds and still miss my old peeps. Last week finally organized my place. It might be more out of control before I attempted to get organized. Wedding in Tulsa next weekend. Those are the high points. More later...I am thinking a picture post is needed. |
